By submitting an order form, either electronically or by post you are agreeing that The Renaissance Pet retain the full copyright and licensing rights to the artwork we produce from your photograph(s), thereby allowing us to use the artwork in any way we see fit for an indefinite period of time.  This includes:

Granting us permission for a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable and sub-licensable right and license to reproduce, distribute, publish, transmit, modify, adapt, print, display, distribute, prepare derivative works based upon and otherwise use or exploit your Photograph(s);

Irrevocably granting permission to us to use the Photograph(s) (and the images and content therein), in whole or in part, on the Site and in print and electronic or any other media and to edit, combine with other material and make derivative works of same, in whole or in part, without notifying you and without obligation to you;

Certifying and acknowledging that you own the Photograph(s) or have the legal right (permission) to permit us and the Site to use, edit or publish and otherwise exploit the Photograph without obligation or liability to any other third party;

Representing and warranting that if any minors appear in the Photograph(s), you are the mother, father or duly appointed guardian of such child(ren) or have the irrevocable permission of the parents or duly appointed guardian(s) of such child(ren) to grant the rights set forth herein to us on behalf of such minor(s) and will indemnify us in the event of this representation proving to be false or misleading in any respect.

Clients who do not wish their commissioned artwork to be shown on my website/blog or other social media associated with this business must notify us when ordering. All content included on the Site, such as, but not limited to, images, text, graphics and logos, are our property and are protected by international copyright laws.

The purchase of any Artwork does not provide you with any copyright interest or other intellectual property right to the Artwork.

By sending me photograph(s) of your pet you are confirming that you either own the copyright to the photograph(s) or have gained permission and/or a license from the the copyright owner to grant me a license to use the photograph(s) for producing your Pet Portrait from and in advertising material for an indefinite period of time. Further, in sending me the photograph(s), either electronically or by post, you agree to indemnify me against any costs arising from claims made against me by persons claming to own the copyright.

All of my pet portraits are fully insured during delivery. In the unlikely event that a portrait is damaged in transit, I must be contacted immediately. Clients must keep all packaging and contents and make a note of damages on the delivery record to receive compensation. Damaged pet portraits must be returned to me at the cost of the client and I will complete another portrait completely free of charge.

Your financial information is not stored by us, your payment is processed by our secure payment gateway. The Renaissance Pet online store uses industry standard encrypion to protect the confidentiality of the information you submit during the checkout. When you submit your order and payment to us, we use a 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption to protect that information in transit. With SSL technology, the web address starts with “https://” instead of “http://”to indicate your information is encrypted during transmission.

We will do everything we can to make this experience exceptional and pleasurable for you. Once we receive your order and your valid uploaded images we will have a preview ready for you within 3-7 business days. Once all final changes and requested edits are complete and you have confirmed the final preview we will print and ship the piece within 2 days.

We ship USPS first class which generally takes 2-5 business days (longer for international orders)
